Title: Tremendous variety of appetizers

Review: This is a great book for getting ideas of what to serve as appetizers. Individual recipes might seem a little basic, but in those cases I would take the suggestions and find a more interesting recipe for the same appetizer in another cookbook. Excellent reference and idea book, with many good recipes.

Review: As a small town art gallery owner, I do it ALL. That includes yummy food, on a budget, to entice and feed the opening night (and sometimes day) guests. This is TRULY a bible to consult. Great buy and great resource.

Title: Fantastic book length book on nothing but appetizers with pics

Review: What an amazing book. I have problems with most Kindle cookbooks because of their very short length and they are really not book
With over 300 pages and 565 recipes this is not only a legitimate book but a great one. Another common complaint about Kindle
cookbooks is the lack of pics in the book or the recipes. While this book did not have a pic for every recipe, it had a lot of pics.

Another good thing is that it was professionally photographed and styled by a photographer using a macro lense (mandatory for up close
photography so important in food photography.

Now the only reason that I gave this book a 4 star instead of a 5 star review is the labels in the pics were too small to read. In the
editorial description it states that this book has been optimized for larger screens. I have a 17" brick of a laptop and still the
printing was too small to read. The editor should have caught this as this is a simple fix to make, so it was a huge editing and
formatting mistake. But nevertheless the recipes are great and the photography was great and I highly recommend this book

Title: A Great Quantity, of a Large Variety, of Quality Foods

Review: I, most often, cook for myself since my Wife passed. However, frequently, I like to share my work with family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Until recently I would not go to ANY amount of trouble to prepare myself a meal. But within the last 2 years I have cooked more to personally enjoy my cooking, as well as to share. This book has many very good foods that I have tried, and I look forward to cooking more. The pictures are very helpful and of good quality. They show utensils and serving items. as well as so many quality pictures of what the food can look like. There are pages of very helpful tips, ideas, and things to think about in advance. Disclaimer, I do not know the author(s), but after going through this book, I would not turn down ( nor should you ! ) an invitation to any type event they would host. If you enjoy cooking, eating,and sharing - You will enjoy this book.

Review: I threw a Christmas cocktail party for family and friends. Before the party, I bought three new appetizer books on Amazon. After reading all three, I returned two because I realized that The Party Food Bible had everything I could possibly need and more. That party received rave reviews.

I threw a baby shower yesterday and used this book again. We did a travel theme and the international sections helped us select a wide range of small bites to serve. And the end of the party I brought out this book because everyone was raving about the food. Expect a large uptick in sales in the next few weeks from my party guests.

I love that this book has pictures of EVERYTHING. It really helps with presentation.

If you like this book, I would also recommend Hors d'Oeuvres Handbook as they are similar. However, I feel that The Party Bible is a bit more modern.

Title: Beautiful book but Organized terribly.

Review: Actually it is a gorgeous book with gorgeous and numerous ideas but the photographs do not appear on the same page as the recipes and that is something that I cannot understand of the author and it is most frustrating and time-consuming to have to go back-and-forth but I’m keeping the book because the photographs are gorgeous and inspiring to make the recipe if you can find it.

Title: Great ideas for a party

Review: Great ideas for "amuse-gueules". I made a few recipes for a baby shower and got compliments: Gougere (cheese pate-a-choux), mini quiches, mushroom and cognac vol-au-vent, and parmesan wheels were all successful. It inspired me to try my hand at eclairs as it uses the same base as the pate-a-choux dough given in the recipe book. I did have a look at youtube to get more comfortable with how to make them.
The kindle version is not easy to use though, and I am sure the book is much better.
