Title: Absurd! Waste Of Time. 80% Of The List Are Not Passive, And You Probably Already Knew The Few That Are.

Review: Absurd! The "author" first provides a definition of passive income, supposedly what this book is about, then follows with a laundry list of potential moneymaking ideas, 80% (really, 37 out of 47) of which are not "passive" at all. Even if any of the ideas were good, they're certainly not innovative; they're nothing you couldn't find by searching Google for passive income ideas. And, they're all abstract, superficial listings. There are no useful details about how to actually go about doing them.

One of his "passive income" suggestions? Become a virtual assistant! How is that anything like PASSIVE? (Rhetorical question: it's not.) In fact, it is the polar opposite of passive. Another: start a blog. Really? I know quite a few bloggers and the ones who make money go social events with their laptops in tow, tapping away on the keyboard instead of being present in the moment. Another one? Create a business system and franchise it out. Been there, done that. Audits, prospectuses, not passive, not even close.

One of his ideas that stood out is "write an ebook" by researching a topic people are searching for, hiring an outsourcer to write it, then sell it on Amazon. Hmm, I wonder where he got THAT idea...

You might excuse his ignorance of the definition of passive if not for the fact that he begins the book with the definition. So, there is NO excuse for titling this book PASSIVE INCOME when the majority of the LIST is anything but. Thumbs down.
